The Epson EB-810E, also known as the PowerLite 810E, is a super ultra-short-throw 3LCD laser display designed to produce large images from very close range. It delivers 5,000 lumens of colour and white brightness, and because it uses Epson’s three-chip 3LCD system, colours stay rich and consistent without the rainbow artefacts sometimes seen on single-chip DLP projectors.
Resolution is 1080p with 5K Enhancement, which means pixel shifting is used to put more detail on screen than standard Full HD. This works well for modern video, detailed slides and UI or UX demos. With HDR support and Scene Adaptive Gamma, the EB-810E handles a wide range of content with good contrast and nuance, particularly in dimmed spaces.
The headline feature is its extreme short-throw capability. Epson quotes a 100 inch image from just 9.8 cm from the wall, with support for screen sizes up to 160 inches diagonal. That makes it a strong option for classrooms, briefing rooms, collaboration areas, exhibition theatres and corporate spaces where you want a huge image without using up floor space for stands or long throw distances. It also supports ultra-wide aspect ratios such as 21:9 and 16:6, which is useful for wide-format dashboards, multi-window layouts and modern collaboration tools.
