LiteMat Spectrum 3 takes the same approach as the 2L but scales it up into a larger, softer key source. The panel measures about 21 in x 30.5 in (533 mm x 775 mm), with overall thickness varying by generation at roughly 0.9 in to 1 in (23 mm to 25.4 mm). Weight also varies, from around 6.2 lb (2.8 kg) with cable on earlier versions to about 9.4 lb (4.3 kg) on the current Gen 2 fixture. Power is rated at 150 W, with 3,888 LEDs, and a tunable CCT range from 2000 K to 11,000 K with CRI and TLCI averaging 95 or higher.
That spec set makes it easy to cover daylight-balanced work, warm interior looks, and more stylised palettes without stacking gels or adding extra fixtures. Output is strong enough to act as a key on medium shots, two-shots and small group scenes in controlled interiors, and it stays manageable on standard stands and common rigging options.
Colour control is the core advantage of the Spectrum line. Alongside tunable white, you get wide-gamut colour mixing with precise hue and saturation adjustment plus plus and minus green, which helps match practicals and existing ambience. Current fixtures also support pixel mapping, with three large-format pixels available on Gen 2, letting you split the panel into zones for more nuanced looks rather than a single flat colour.
Control and integration depend on the dimmer and kit configuration. With the LiteDimmer Spectrum AC/DC 200 used in Gen 2 kits, control options can include wired DMX and RDM, plus wireless CRMX, and network protocols such as Art-Net and sACN. That makes Spectrum 3 easy to drop into console workflows, app-driven setups, or hybrid film and live environments where you want fast colour changes without a rebuild.
On smaller sets, Spectrum 3 often becomes the main panel that solves everyday lighting problems. It can be a primary key for a presenter, a soft top or side light for product sequences, or a large eyelight for beauty and fashion. Its slim profile also helps in tighter UK locations, where ceiling height and rigging space can be limited.
