Stage Risers – Various Heights from AV Productions provide flexible elevation wherever you need it in the room, whether for choirs, ensembles, panels, camera positions, or additional presentation areas. The concept is similar to professional choral and band risers used in schools and performance venues, where portable platforms are arranged in tiers, ensuring every performer or speaker is clearly visible. Our risers use modular decks and interchangeable supports, allowing us to build straight or curved layouts in multiple heights, typically ranging from low platforms around twenty centimetres to higher levels of sixty or eighty centimetres, following common portable staging standards. Each riser is constructed on a strong yet manageable understructure designed for frequent assembly and disassembly. Decks are manufactured to professional load ratings similar to those recommended for band and drum risers, with interlocking connections that keep seams flush and help prevent wobble under performance conditions. Surface finishes are chosen for grip and durability, aligning with the carpeted or hardboard decks commonly used on quality choral platforms, so performers can move with confidence even under bright stage lighting. Because the system is modular, risers can be extended or reshaped to match different venues and show formats. A set that starts as a three-tier choir arrangement can later be reconfigured as a camera platform, an L-shaped group photo riser, or an auxiliary presentation platform flanking the main stage, without needing a completely different product. Safety accessories such as handrails, guard rails, and access steps can be added where needed, reflecting standard practice in multi-level staging systems.
